We stayed focused on transforming our business, brand, operations and culture in a journey to what we call Cricket 2.0. As a result, we added 1.1 million net new customers in 2009 — the most of any year in our history — while growing our revenues, improving our margins and strengthening our balance sheet. Our industry-leading cost structure continued to deliver results, enabling us to generate greater cash flows.
Today, our business has never been better positioned to lead the unlimited, no-contract segment of the industry. Introduced in March 2010, our newest Cricket Wireless service plans offer unlimited U.S. anytime calling, national coverage and what we believe is the most competitive offer in the wireless marketplace. We are also unveiling our best 3G device lineup yet, including our first smartphones later this year.
We believe in our business. And while we continue to make refinements, we think we've built a strong, attractive platform to benefit our stockholders.
